Gogo has signed an agreement with Intelsat S.A. for Ku satellite capacity specifically for coverage in the Atlantic and northern Pacific oceans, as well as routes over Central and South America, Asia, Australia and parts of Africa.
Combined with our recent deal with SES, this gives us global Ku capacity for our current airline partners. Gogo signed a multi-year, multi-transponder contract to use Ku-band satellite capacity on Intelsat 19, 21, 22 and 27. By partnering with Intelsat, Gogo will provide reliable and seamless coverage internationally.This will be avaliable starting in early 2013.
